Alexandra Zhukova
Alexandra Zhukova is a Paris-based designer crafting garments at the intersection of concept, subversion, and emotion. Her namesake label explores the fragmented aesthetics of youth, memory, and tension through an avant-garde lens, often blending theatrical construction with poetic minimalism.
“Play, Act 1” AW26 Collection concept
The collection is structured around three symbolic categories – birth, wedding, and death-viewed through the lens of The Master and Margarita. Throughout the collection, symbols and characters drawn from the novel, such as the moon and the manuscript, master – the writer, margarita – the witch and behemoth – the mischievous cat bandit recur across all three states. Rather than telling a literal story, the collection reflects the novel’s movement between fantasy, reality, devotion, and escape.
